Relationships Count was a series of monthly reflective consultation sessions offered to professionals who provide services to infants, toddlers and families through Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The series focused on exploring professional practices which support infant mental health and included time set aside for reflective consultation around cases presented by participants. The series was facilitated by a former early intervention teacher who is also an infant mental health specialist, IMH-E® (III). The participants included early intervention service providers who work in urban, suburban and rural areas and who support children and families with diverse socio-economic, cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
